Meet the 3 Founders

Daniel Garcia - Founder

I started Finance Forward because I’ve seen how younger students have limited access to applied financial knowledge, even though it shapes their entire future. My goal is to make finance simple, relatable, and something kids actually feel confident about early on.

Diego Orozco - Vice President

I’m part of Finance Forward because I believe financial knowledge is something everyone should have access to early, not something people figure out too late. Being involved in this project allows me to help make those ideas simple and approachable for younger students.

Cesar Serna - Vice President

I’m involved in Finance Forward because I think understanding money early gives people a real advantage later in life. A lot of students never get taught these basics, and this project is about changing that in a way that actually sticks.

We are dedicated to bridging the financial literacy gap in San Antonio. Our mission is to empower students with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the world of finance and investment.

How does it work?

On site school presentations

We visit schools and lead interactive 1 hour presentations that introduce students to basic financial concepts in a simple and engaging way.

Registration for zoom classes

Students and parents sign up online for our virtual sessions, making it easy to continue learning beyond the classroom.

Zoom execution

We host live online classes where we teach, interact, and break down real financial topics in a way students can understand and apply.

Built for young learners.

Our lessons use games, real-world examples, group activities, and student-led discussions to make financial concepts easier to understand and remember. That also gives you a natural place to mention the “interactive” part without dedicating an entire section to it.
